The ‘Engineering for Good: Including a Social Perspective in Engineering Programs’ (ENGood) project was officially launched during the kick-off meeting in Vigo, Spain, on January 30th and 31st, 2024. Partners from Belgium, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, and Spain came together to discuss project management procedures and the development of outputs.
Over the next three years, partner institutions will collaborate on developing a training program to enhance technology courses from multiple dimensions. This program will integrate the analysis and evaluation of engineering technologies from political, economic, and environmental perspectives. The project’s ultimate goal is to equip future engineers with the skills necessary for a comprehensive examination of how new technologies, including their commercialization, can impact personal, social, economic, or political levels.
